Wandjina Gardens is about 3km from Mullumbimby P.O. The last 1km is on gravel road. The full distance is very flat and is an good walk.
The venue incorporates 180 stunning acres ranging from flat at 10m above sea level to sheer cliffs at 309m. Presentations are on the lower parts. Bushwalking (especially a hike up the mountain) is recommended.
A detailed map & directions are at the bottom of this page. Please make sure to have these details when travelling to the conference as you are unlikely to find the venue without it!

We will be providing fully serviced portable toilets. We have plenty of clean water available.
A Fire ban will be in force, however we will try to obtain a permit.

From a little higher you can look South over Mullumbimby and higher again you can see East over Byron Bay and the Ocean.
How to get to Mullumbimby
From Sydney drive North on the Pacific Hwy to Ballina. Go through Ballina and continue on the Hwy (do not turn towards Byron Bay while in Ballina). 20 minutes past Ballina start looking for the Byron Bay interchange (major highway turnoff / overpass). Continue past this and take the next exit, which is for Mullumbimby. Follow the signs into Mullumbimby.
From Brisbane drive south on the Pacific Hwy towards Coolangatta. Continue on the Hwy, crossing into NSW. 25 minutes past Tweed Heads (Coolangatta) you will pass Billinudgel, Ocean Shores, Brunswicks Heads North and then Mullumbimby / Brunswick heads south. Take this exit and follow the signs. If you miss this exit simply continue on to the next one which also exits to Mullumbimby.
From Gold Coast (Coolangatta) airport get onto Pacific Hwy heading south. 25 minutes later you will pass Billinudgel, Ocean Shores, Brunswicks Heads North and then Mullumbimby / Brunswick heads south. Take this exit and follow the signs. If you miss this exit simply continue on to the next one which also exits to Mullumbimby.
How to find Wandjina Gardens
This is the difficult part. We are not well known locally and are not listed in the phone book. The only way to find us is to use these directions.
From Mullumbimby you have to find your way towards the locality of Main Arm. This road is called Main Arm Rd. You can ask locals for this road or you can look for signs pointing towards Murwillumbah. The beginning of Main Arm Rd is only a few hundred meters out of town, so don't go too far.
Once on Main Arm Rd you go exactly 1.8km. This takes you to number 180 (on right hand side). Alongside number 180 is an unnamed gravel lane. It is a private road and easy to miss. This is a shared access road. You will need to go another 1km to the end of this gravel lane. Towards the end the road has a slight kink and a sign "Private Road". You will need to drive past this sign and past a small house on the right. Some 30m past the small house you turn sharp right. This is the entrance to Wandjina Gardens.
We will endevour to have bright balloons marking the turns from 180 Main Arm Rd, but their survival cannot be guaranteed.
